Dr. Mohamed Samir Gheith is an Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST. His research interests span supply chain management, energy management, healthcare management, and optimization of industrial processes. Dr. Gheith has over a decade of experience in academia, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in industrial engineering, operations management, and logistics. He is also actively engaged in supervising PhD and MSc students, contributing to the academic growth of future industrial engineers. His published work includes over 15 peer-reviewed journal articles and 20 conference papers, with a notable H-index of 10 on Google Scholar, reflecting his impact in the field. In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Gheith serves as a consultant to various industries, providing solutions in production scheduling, factory layout optimization, and supply chain management. He has led projects funded by international organizations, such as GIZ and JICA, focusing on factory optimization and healthcare systems management. Dr. Gheith is a dedicated educator and researcher, aiming to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application, with a passion for mentoring the next generation of engineers.
