Dr. Mohamed Samir Gheith is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) and Alexandria University, Egypt. His research focuses on optimizing complex systems in supply chain management, container terminal operations, energy management, financial engineering, and healthcare systems. His work integrates mathematical programming, metaheuristics, and simulation-based approaches to address real-world challenges.

Dr. Gheith has supervised many graduate theses and actively collaborates with the industry, leading projects funded by GIZ and JICA to optimize factory layouts, production planning, and COVID-19 healthcare responses. His industrial consultations span lean management, warehouse design, and fleet optimization.

As a dedicated educator, he has taught 30+ undergraduate and graduate courses, including Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, and Data Analytics.
