Materials Science and Engineering

Mohsen A. Hassan is professor at Mechanical Engineering Department Assiut University, Egypt. Currently he is a professor and chairman of the Material Science and Engineering Department, Faculty of Innovative Design Engineering, Egypt Japan University for Science and Technology, Egypt. He has received his Master in 1998, Egypt. In 2002 He got his PhD in information and production science (forming technology), Kyoto Institute of Technology, Japan. He has published more than 140 research articles in the field of material models, modelling and simulation, forming and micro forming, MEMS, Piezoelectric thin Films, heart mechanics, ceramics processing and rubbers. He was invited research scholar for 2 years (2003-2005) at the Nano-metrics laboratory, Kyoto University, Japan. He was visiting professor for two years (2010-2012) at the Mechanical Engineering Department, Malaya University, Malaysia. He received several international Research Grants from MOHE-Malaysia.
