Tamer Fawzy Megahed received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, in 2006, 2010, and 2015, respectively. In 2016, He was appointed as an assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University. Currently, He is an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST). He got many funded projects and now he owns four projects funded by STDS and JICA in the following research points to improve the performance of wind energy using magnetic technology, the use of the IoT to monitor the load demand in housing and air-condition load analysis, and a multi-generational system to generate electricity, cooling, and fresh water. The total running funding project is about 450,000 USD. Dr. Tamer's research interests include power control, renewable energy sources, smart grid, electric vehicles, wireless charging, energy storage control and management, vector control, power system protection, model predictive control, and green hydrogen. He has 60 international publications and two books. In 2023 he published 12 international journals in Q1 and Q2 ranking journals according to WoS. Also, he has four patents in magnetic refrigeration, designed IoT systems for monitoring electricity consumption, thrust-vector-control model rocket design, and magnetic gear.
