Ayman Mahrous has deep expertise in Space Weather research, over 246 peer-reviewed publications, and significant influence in the field (H-index: 100 on Google Scholar). His editorial experience includes roles as Guest Editor for Journal of Discover Space and Advisory Board Member for Journal of Space Weather and Space Climate, along with reviewing for top journals, NASA Heliophysics Supporting Research Program (H-SR) and NASA Postdoctoral Fellow Program solicitation since 2014. He has led major research projects, supervised numerous students, and held leadership positions in international committees like SCOSTEP and the UN International Space Weather Initiative. His teaching, conference contributions, and awards—including the Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics 2025 —further demonstrate his leadership and deep commitment to advancing space weather science.
