Computer Science & Engineering

Dr. Rami Zewail has received his BSc. and MSc. degrees from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Egypt, and his PhD degree from the University of Alberta, Canada. He has over 15 years of academic and industrial R&D experience in areas of computer vision, machine learning, and embedded intelligence. Dr Zewail’s research experience spans different fields such as HealthCare, Oil & Gas industry , and Biometrics authentication. Dr. Zewail is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), The Canadian Association for Artificial Intelligence and he serves as reviewer for a number of scientific journals. Dr Zewail's research interests lie in the areas of computer vision, machine learning and embedded intelligence with focus on learning in resource-constrained settings.
